Library Card

How to Get a Library Card

Visit the Library at 709 E. Houston and bring photo identification (drivers license, state ID, military ID) with proof of a local address (utility bill, lease agreement).

Children under the age of 18 will be added to a parent or guardian’s account to obtain a card.

You will need to fill out a registration form at the Circulation Desk and then will receive your card.

Lost cards can be replaced at the Circulation Desk with no additional charges.  If a patron wants to upgrade with one of our new cards, there is a charge of $3.00.

Do I have to renew my Library Card?

Library cards that expire can be renewed at front desk or calling the front desk. Lost library cards can be replaced at no additional charge. *Subject to change

If you live outside Houston County (within a 50-mile radius), you may still obtain a library card. Currently there is no fee, but this is subject to change.
