As building official, this position is responsible for enforcement of the city’s building, electrical, plumbing, and related regulations and for providing related consultative services and technical assistance to city officials, contractors, and the public.  As facilities manager, this position is responsible for overseeing and reviewing all aspects of City facilities maintenance, including but not limited to new construction, remodels, and structure repairs, including painting, window and door repairs, upkeep of HVAC systems, plumbing hydraulics, and electrical repairs.
