NOTICE JOB VACANCY

Application

The City of Crockett Fire Department has openings for volunteer firefighters.
Interested paroles may pick up an application at City Hall
or at the Fire Station.

Applicants must:

a. Be at least 18 years of age.

b. Not be a convicted felon.

c. Have a current drivers license and a driving record that is acceptable to insurance standards.

d. Have a high school diploma or GED.

e. Be eligible to work in the United States.

f. Be able to lift and carry loads in excess of 50 lbs.

g. Be able to work from heights and depths.

h. Be able to work in confined spaces.

i. Be able to work in extreme heat and/or cold.

j. Be able to work in all types of weather for extended periods of time, day or night.

k. Be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

l. Be willing to abide by Department Bylaws and Standard Operating Guidelines.

m. Be able to maintain a minimum response percentage of 25% of alarms per year. And participate in a minimum of 40% of the regularly scheduled drills.

n. Able to work in close proximity to severely injured and/or deceased persons.

All applicants are subject to a criminal history, and driving record investigation.
